ON which Day appeared personally John Cordy of the Parish of Cam in the County and Diocese of Glocester, Labourer and, being sworn on the Holy Evangelists, Alleged and made Oath, That he is of the Age of Twenty nine Years and upwards, and a Batchelor and that he intends to Marry with Martha Carpenter of the said Parish of Cam in the County and Diocese of Glocester, Spinster aged Twenty Five Years and upwards; and that he knoweth of no lawful Lett, or Impediment, by reason of any Pre-contract, Consanguinity, Affinity, or any other Cause wahtsoever, to hinder the said intended Marriage; and that he prayed a Licence to solemnize the said Marriage in the Parish Chuch of Cam aforesaid; in which said Parish of Cam the said John Cordy further made Oath, that the said Martha Carpenter hath had her usual Abode for the Space of Four Weeks last past.

on which day appeared personally Thomas Skuse of the Parish of Mangotsfield in the County and Diocese of Gloucester, Batchelor of the age of Twenty one years and upwards, prayed a Licence for the Solemnization of Matrimony in the Parish Chuch of Westerleigh in the County of Gloucester, between him and Diana Cordy of the Parish of Westerleigh of the Age of Twenty years and upwards, and made Oath that he believeth that there is no Impediment of Kindred or Alliance, or of any other lawful Cause, nor any Suit commenced in any Ecclesiastical Court, to bar or hinder the Proceeding of the said Matrimony, according to the Tenor of such Licence. And he further made Oath that she the said Diana Cordy hath had her usual abode within the said Parish of Westerleigh for the space of Fifteen Days last past.
And he further made Oath that the consent of the father of the said Diana Cordy hath been obtained to such marriage.
